Hi! My name is Lisa Li.

I graduated from Northeastern University in 2019 with a degree in Marketing and Interactive Media. At Northeastern I had an amazing time playing for the Women’s Rugby team #GoMadDogs, and served as the teams 7’s Manager and Social Media Chair. Post graduation I was able to play locally for Boston Women’s until I was bested by some injuries at the ripe age of 26.

Although Rugby has aged my joints, it has only bolstered my spirit. When Covid hit and Rugby was at a standstill, I kept in touch with the community helping as Digital Media Manager for the Northeast Academy. In 2021 when Rugby was making a comeback, I was given the opportunity to take some match photos, which ultimately catapulted me into the world of photography! I was 2019-2021 Publicity Chair for Boston Women’s Rugby Club & 2021-2023 Team Photographer for the New England Free Jacks. Although I can no longer play on the field, I feel lucky to have a new role and to be able to keep in touch with this tight-knit community.

I am currently embarking on my next journey as a MBA candidate at UCLA, looking to pivot into the Sports Retail & Outdoor Lifestyle Brands industry. I am excited to explore the Rugby community in SoCal, and to meet new photographers in the area!
